Mission

The Education-Information Center is a non-governmental organization which seeks to promote the development of civil society in Georgia by raising the awareness of the population, stimulating the active involvement of citizens in decision making processes, advocating the interests of various civic groups,
supporting civic initiatives, and conducting applicable practical research. The center endeavors to support groups and individuals that promote social, political and economic reforms, and contribute to the development of efficient institutions for the protection of human rights. Kartli XXI is supported by training and membership fees, donations and charity funds.

Kartli XXI’s main goals are:
• Support political and democrati c processes
• Involve citi zens in state life and civil educati on
• Improve the system of social supervision over government activities
• Create insti tuti ons of civil society in Georgia
• Support and recommend democrati c legislati on.

In short: the mission of the organization is to build civil society in Georgia by promoting mutual dialogue between the government and citizens.
